I need to create a teaching power point for a history project on The Fall of Communism in Europe. It needs to include info on:
<Gorbachev’s reforms and decision not to use force to support Communism in the satellites
<Unrest in the satellites nations
<Specific examples of what happened in at least three of the countries.
Thank you!
Any info would be great, specially on the Satellite nations having a lot of trouble finding info on them.

Barbecues, the first day at the local pool, outdoor games for the kids — in so many ways Memorial Day weekend marks the beginning of summer, but it is also a very special time to give thanks to and reflect on the efforts of the many men and women who served our country.
If you have something special planned for Memorial Day, please share it with TribLocal.com. We would love for you to e-mail images to tribocaltips.com or post them directly.

University of South Carolina Upstate (Spartanburg, SC) Associate Professor of Art Education, Dr. Mary Lou Hightower, will accept the prestigious Mac Arthur Goodwin Award from the Columbia Museum of Art in Columbia, SC, at their annual meeting on May 19, 2011.

The award is made annually to a South Carolina resident who has demonstrated a sustained commitment to arts education through service and direct involvement with arts programming. Recipients have demonstrated effectiveness by facilitating programs, collaborations and initiatives that are regarded as successful and are considered innovative by their peers as well as their constituents. Recipients also demonstrate a vision for visual arts education that involves partnership and collaboration between two or more groups.
“I am very honored to receive this award. Working with museums on educational materials and providing free classes for children at the museum has added to my students’ overall experience at USC Upstate,” says Hightower.
The purpose of the award is to honor those who foster progress in visual arts education through the successful utilization of community arts resources; to create a greater awareness of the arts resources, such as museums and arts centers, within South Carolina; and to encourage collaboration among community organizations that implement visual arts programming.
The award, established in 2002, is named for Mac Arthur Goodwin, a longtime South Carolina artist and arts educator. Goodwin is known for the tremendous strides he has made in development of visual and performing arts education.
For more information, contact Dr. Mary Lou Hightower at (864) 503-5817 or e-mail to (mhightower@uscupstate.edu).

I am totally straight but love wearing skirts and dresses with my t shirts or black long sleave express tshirt, but with my baseball hat to maintain my sense of being a guy. Tights are fun to, like footless ones with flip flops. Do girls think this could be *censored* at all? The skirts are usually flary and bouncy above the knee like a beach skirt but something that swishes a little maybe. Thanks!! Im 5’7 145 and really cute.
