Housing Program Administrator

The Seneca-Cayuga Tribe is accepting applications for a Housing Program Administrator. In Compliance with the Seneca-Cayuga Tribe of Oklahoma, Tribal Government Office Employees Personnel Policy, before applicants are solicited from outside the Tribe, consideration shall be given to upgrading the existing staff according to the Tribe’s Career Development Program. The Housing Program Administrator under the supervision of the Director of Family Services is responsible for the research, planning, organization and implementation of the Seneca-Cayuga Tribe’s Housing Program. Interprets Federal Housing Laws, Code of Federal Regulations, and NAHASDA Regulations as they relate to the housing needs of the Seneca-Cayuga Tribe of Oklahoma and the implementation of those regulations in the formulation and execution of Housing Laws, policies, codes and regulations specific to the Tribe. Ability to submit appropriate grants for departmental growth and must have basic bookkeeping skills. Responsible for planning, organizing, directing, supervising and managing all functions arising through the course of implementation of the Tribe’s Housing Program insuring compliance with applicable Federal/State laws, codes and regulations, and policies and procedures established by the Tribal Housing Program and/or the Tribal Business Committee. Must be proficient in the use of office machines and personal computer. Applicant must possess the physical aptitude pertaining to home inspections and must be able to reach, push, bend and lift 30 to 50 lbs.
